By the end of this module the learner will be able to show a knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the Art of Preaching; show a knowledge of the various ways different types of sermons can be constructed and the sources involved; show a knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the use of biblical texts, passages, commentaries and other extra-biblical material to develop an exegetical sermon.
